Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Customer complaints are inevitable in-service delivery, and their effective resolution is critical to maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. Corporate communication plays a pivotal role in addressing complaints by ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and empathetic engagement. In Ifelodun Local Government Area, Kwara State, organizations face challenges in managing customer complaints due to inadequate communication strategies and poor feedback mechanisms. Research indicates that effective corporate communication can significantly enhance complaint resolution processes, leading to improved customer trust and loyalty (Adeyemi & Ojo, 2024). This study explores the role of corporate communication in enhancing customer complaints resolution, focusing on strategies that foster transparency, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Organizations in Ifelodun often struggle with resolving customer complaints effectively due to communication gaps, lack of empathy, and inadequate feedback systems.
